Hasty Chocolate Pudding

I tried this simple and easy chocolate pudding. Taste very smooth, chocolaty and sweet. If you don't like sweet pudding, you can reduce the amount of sugar in this recipe. I found it too sweet for me so the next time I would reduce the sugar quantity. It is an easy recipe and fixed in a jiffy as it is using a microwave to cook. If you don't have a microwave, you can simply use the conventional method.. use your stove to heat up the pudding mixture :-).

Servings: serves 4


Ingredients

100 g white sugar
30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
25 g cornstarch
475 ml milk
10 ml vanilla extract


Method

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Whisk in milk a little at a time so the mixture does not have any dry lumps.
  2. Place in the microwave, and cook for 3 minutes on high. Stir, then cook at 1 minute intervals, stirring between cooking times for 2 to 4 minutes, or until shiny and thick. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming, and chill in the refrigerator. Serve cold.

I keep my pudding in small tubs ( see pictures above) and keep them in the refrigerator. The tubs have their own covers so I don't have to use any plastic wrap anymore.

    Lab papa strongly think that poppet is affiliated or somehow connected to chocolate industry.

  2. heheheh si labpapa ni, menanya lagi dia kenapa banyak resepi chocolate.hahahahah kita mesti menyokong industri koko kan poppet, walaupun choc bikin kita "very very sehat". pandai o u masak guna microwave kan poppet

  4. whimsi: last year sia pernah makan chocolate everyday for 2-3 months sia rasa. 1 day I ate at least 50-100g of milk chocolate or chocolate praline.. turn out I lost weight lagi bukan bertambah "sehat".. so chocolate tidak menyehatkan hahahaha. If you are addicted to chocolate but want to reduce the calories, eat dark chocolate instead (nasihat pakar makanan bercoklat wakakakaka)
