Simple Chocolate Chip Cookies

A nice recipe. All my "customers" (my family and some of my officemates hehehehe) like the cookies. If I remember correctly, I think the original recipe includes some nuts in the ingredients, but since my daughter does not like nuts, I omitted them in my recipe.

Chocolate Chips Cookies

Preheat oven at 190C

Ingredients
50g margarine/butter
50g castor sugar
50g brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
100g self rising flour
175g chocolate chips or plain chocolate broken into small pieces

Method
1. cream the butter or margarine first and gradually add castor sugar and brown sugar little by little until finish. soft and fluffy
2. carefully add egg, adding a little of the flour if the micture begins to curdle. put in the vanilla essence
3. fold in the flour, then stir in the chocolate chips
4. shape the mixture into rounded teaspoonful and drop onto a greased baking-tray, leaving plenty of room between them as they spread during cooking. Bake for 8-10min.

using microwave
1-3, follow the instruction above
4. shape the mixture onto rounded teaspoonful and drop onto a greaseproof paper, leaving plenty of room between them as they spread during cooking. Cook on high for 2-2.5 min then leave to cool before peeling away from paper.

  1. I've noticed that most of your recipes are using chocolate. Are affiliated to a chocolate company? hehehe...

FYI, I love chocolate very much.
