Melting Middle Chocolate Pudding

Another simple recipe that I have tried. Very-very nice and so easy to make.

Melting Middle Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

170g cooking chocolate
10 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup flour
3 eggs
3 egg yolk

Method

1. Preheat oven to 220C.

2. Melt chocolate and butter ( I just melt them together in microwave oven for 0.5min and then mix until all the chocolate melted)

3.Mix icing sugar and flour or you can also sieve them together.

4.Whip both eggs and egg yolk together.

5. When the chocolate mixture is cool enough, beat in the egg mixture followed by the icing sugar/flour mix.

6. Pour into cupcakes baking tin ( I also put the cupcakes paper cups so that it is easier to get them out from tin later)
7. Bake for 8 min or until the puddings are slightly hard on the outside but soft in the middle.
8. Let them cool down for about 1 min. Take out pudding from baking tin.
9. Serve upside down on a plate. Take off the paper cup covering. Sprinkle some icin sugar on top of the puddings.

Try it and let me know what do you think of it :).

  7. Yo, great recipe, I foolishly burned my first batch because I was focused on a chicken pie, the recipe is very very nice.

However, the measurements confused me a little, hard to judge tablespoons of butter, so it may come out differently each time. I just chucked in 250g butter.

  8. Hi Anon,

In the future if you are doing any recipes using tbs measurement and you prefer them in grams, just go to http://www.convertunits.com/from/tablespoons/to/gram and you can easily convert tbs measurement to grams. 10 tbs is approximately 150gm.

    All the best :)

  12. For the cup measurement, you can check out the conversion to gram here http://www.jsward.com/cooking/conversion.shtml

Gloop> yup, if you bake them longer in the oven, it wont have any of the melting part anymore..it should still wobble a bit in the middle.

  20. what type of flour to use??? self-raising or plain?

  21. It worked amazingly! I just used boring old chocolate chips because we didn't have any cooking chocolate and it worked fine as well. A quick easy desert. I used plain flour. 10 Tablespoons converts to roughly 144grams :)
